My shirt/hoodie/top is the wrong size — can I exchange it?

Absolutely! Our aim is to make you happy. Please contact us on the contact form within 30 days of receiving your item and we will work with you to exchange your product.

What is your refund policy?

Our goal is to make you happy and if something we sent doesn’t make you happy, let’s talk. There are some limitations because of our printing process, however, and we cannot guarantee a full refund, but we can find a way to ensure you are satisfied with the outcome at the end. 

How long does each product take to produce?

Each order is custom-made, meaning we don’t have a warehouse. It saves on upfront costs, but does mean it can take longer for you to receive your purchase. Because of COVID-19, that process may be longer than normal. Expect to receive your item within 1-2 weeks after ordering. If there is a delay, we will contact you ahead of time to give you the option of cancelling or rushing the order.

How much does shipping cost in the United States?

We offer a flat $4.00 shipping fee within the US. Orders over $75 will include free shipping.

How much does shipping cost outside of the United States?

That will depend. Shipping to North America (including Central America) will include an additional $2 cost, while Europe could see higher costs depending on the weight of the product ordered. If you’re shipping outside the US, the shipping cost will vary depending on the items in your cart. At checkout, you’ll be able to see your final shipping price before placing your order.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

I ordered multiple product types. Why didn’t my whole order ship together?

We try to ship the products as close to the same time, but sometimes the printing takes longer for items. In that case, we will ship once a product is ready. You will only be charged for the initial shipping cost and we’ll take care of the rest.

Has my order shipped yet?

We’re working on an order lookup page right now. If you haven’t received notification that your order has shipped, you can email us at info@langverhaal.com and we’ll check on it for you.

I made a mistake in my shipping address — is it too late to change it?

This happens (our owner has done this a number of times with a certain clothing relatiler and gets absolutely annoyed when it happens). Please reach out to info@langverhaal.com right away so we can try to fix it before the order goes out. If it’s too late, we’ll work with you to fix the problem.

My order was lost in the mail. How do I arrange a replacement?

We swear there are mail gnomes, cousins to those sock gnomes in the dryer! Email info@langverhaal.com and we'll do what we can to set things right!

Will you be adding more books/characters to your collections?

Our goal is to have a robust collection of characters and books for you to choose from. Some of them are easier to do because of public domain laws while others are a bit of a struggle. As we expand into more recent books, we will collaborate with the authors to develop the proper representation of the essence of the characters and maintain all necessary licenses to stay above the law. It’s no secret, the easiest way for us to do that is with more sales, so spreading the word goes a long way to having your favorite stories appear!

Do your prints come framed?

We could, but honestly the idea of choosing a frame you’ll like is just as complicated as choosing the right flatware for a wedding. There are too many options and opinions that we’d become a frame store before long.
